Professional Relations Liaison

Tidewell Hospice, a mission-oriented non-profit hospice in sunny Southwest Florida, is seeking a driven and experienced professional clinical liaison to increase awareness, understanding and utilization of Tidewell’s services.

The liaison is the conduit between Tidewell Hospice and professional healthcare referral sources in a defined territory. The position is responsible for increasing referral and admission volume to meet established admission goals. The successful candidate will have the ability to navigate the healthcare environment and a track record of referral generation and conversion. The liaison also will serve as a speaker in outreach activities to educate healthcare referral sources, community professionals, influencers and consumers about Tidewell services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years outreach, professional relations and/or sales experience preferred; Medical marketing, hospice experience, or other healthcare field experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical expertise in related discipline, Clinical RN, LPN, or MSW license)preferred.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills, including public speaking experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation/insurance and be willing to travel throughout the county.
  • Ability to work unsupervised exercising a high degree of discretion and independent judgement.
  • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn; familiarity with spread sheet programs.
  • Employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee’s HR file.
  • Employee must sign a Business Protection Agreement.
