The Medical and Educational Services Manager (RN) will have oversight of HIV and STI prevention programs and EPIC’s medical homes including the Sexual Health and Wellness Clinic. This includes but is not limited to: hiring of new staff, training, annual evaluations, disciplinary actions and approval of time off, overall clinic management and the creation of educational programming. This position is responsible for providing education and support to individuals at risk for HIV and/or STI’s, their support systems, our community partners and the EPIC staff. The manager will work collaboratively with the Executive Director in expanding medical home services. This position is also responsible for ensuring that programs meet all regulatory and compliance standards.

EPIC (Empath Partners in Care) is a nonprofit provider of medical case management, counseling and pharmacy services to Tampa Bay area residents with HIV. • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years of previous experience
• Previous experience working with HIV/STI Prevention activities including testing and education preferred
• Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS / Sexually Transmitted Diseases is required
• Prior management experience preferred; two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Business experience a plus
• Licensure:
o Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse
• Continuing Education: As required for licensure
• Certifications: HIV 501 Certified, HIV Testing certification
