PACE, a member of Empath Health is currently seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant to join our team.

8am-5pm

TheMedical Assistant (MA):

  • Partner with the clinic nurses and physicians/APRNs to help create more efficiency with the use of nurse and physician/APRN time and assume various clinical and non-clinical tasks currently performed by the other clinic staff in compliance with state practice acts and regulations.


    • Position Requirements

    • Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); more advanced education preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Certifications:

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

    • • Have a minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.

    • Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.

    Suncoast PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive health care and support services to Pinellas County seniors with chronic health conditions.
