Weekend Access Manager

Hospice of Marion County a Part of Empath Health is seeking a Weekend Access Manager to join our Mission Advancement Department – Admissions/Care Navigation team. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring patients and families receive timely, compassionate, and high-quality care.

This role is 40 hours a week, Friday through Monday, 12-hour shifts and 4 hours during the week in Marion County, serving as a key leadership presence on weekends to support access operations and uphold the mission of Empath Health

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as an integral member of the leadership access team within the Mission Advancement Department – Admissions/Care Navigation.
  • Represent and communicate Empath Health’s Mission and Vision to the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as standards of care from accreditation agencies.
  • Maintain high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational objectives, policies, and best practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate services provided to patients and families to ensure excellence and continuity of care.

What You’ll Need

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Masters degree preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years Hospice experience with at least two years of management experience preferred.
  • Seven to ten total years experience as an RN preferred.
  • Licensure: RN
  • Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee’s HR file.
