Description
Avidity Home Health, a mission-oriented non-profit home health agency in sunny Southwest Florida, is seeking an experienced and team-oriented PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to work in the home health setting.
Under physicians’ orders and the supervision of an RN, the LPN is there to guide patients and loved ones through their illness, providing care and emotional support. A keen eye for symptoms and patient needs and a soothing manner help maximize comfort and improve quality of life for the patient.
The LPN may also administer medications, intravenous therapy, perform instruction on diet, medication, and treatment, assist in mobility and therapeutic exercises, and learning self-care techniques.
Applicants must display dedication to customer service and the ability to expertly multi-task. The successful candidate with have graduated from an approved school of practical/vocational nursing and possess a current unrestricted Florida LPN license. One year of previous home healthcare experience is preferred.
