Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contracts Paralegal to support the legal and contracting needs of Empath Health and its subsidiaries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys managing complex information, and takes pride in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth processes. The Contracts Paralegal will partner closely with the Associate General Counsel, Corporate Contracts Administrator, internal teams, and outside counsel to manage our contract database, support contract review and negotiation, and assist with a wide range of legal operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the company’s contract database, including uploading agreements, tracking key dates, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate with departments to support contract review, renewal, and termination processes, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Draft, review, and edit contracts and legal documents using company templates, legal guidance, and strong attention to detail.
  • Support contract-related audits, document productions, and due diligence requests.
  • Monitor incoming requests to the Legal Inbox, assess priority, and track assignments and progress.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to improve contract processes, templates, and reporting.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; paralegal certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of contract terminology, legal processes, and document management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and contract management platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat).
