Responsible for the data entry and acknowledgement of all donations received by Suncoast Hospice Foundation and the Scheduling of Resale Shop Pick-Ups

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gift Processing

Preparation of Gift Batches
Accurate entry of all gifts
Follow PCI guidelines for credit card processing
Maintain online registrations for matching gift and giving campaign programs
Acknowledgement of gifts within a 48 hour period
Provide reconciliation reports as appropriate

  • Scheduling of Resale Shop Pick-Ups

Answer all incoming calls for scheduling and/or cancellations
Follow-up to all web submission requests
Provide store notifications of schedule
Entry of pick-ups schedule into an action in Raiser’s Edge
Prepare ‘Schedule Pick-Up’ form for drivers
Communicate with Lead Driver on a daily basis as needed
Fax pick-up forms to designated store as advised

  • Records Management

Create new constituent record as needed
Recognize duplicate records and perform merge with record clean-up to follow
Link relationship records
Follow mapping guidelines established to promote accuracy of data entry
Assist with data maintenance as requested
Assist with entry/imports of patient/family information

  • Administrative Assistance to Resale Shop and Individual Giving Team

Print the Resale Shop and Foundation volunteer time sheets on a monthly basis
Entry of Resale Shop and Foundation volunteer hours into Raiser’s Edge on a monthly basis
Process Resale Shop Volunteer Change of Status forms as requested
Provide volunteer reports to Resale Shop as requested
Other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced in data entry and word processing.
  • Ability to function effectively and independently as a member of the Foundation team.
  • Commitment to the ideals and mission of Empath Health.
