Face to Face Specialist

The Face-To-Face (F2F) Specialist is responsible for coordinating and documenting face-to-face encounters between patients and physicians to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers, patients, and administrative staff to facilitate timely and accurate documentation.
Location: Hybrid role requiring ability for some days in our Lakewood Ranch, FL office
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F 8am-5pm
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a Healthcare or Home Health experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Face-to-Face encounter requirements.
- Minimum Two (2+) years of administrative experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Reliable internet service and the ability to work from home with minimal disruption to the workday. This is a hybrid role.
- Demonstrate strength in collaboration, organization, and follow-through.
- Able to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Advanced interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and (EHR) Electronic Health Records.
- Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is required to sit for long periods of time. Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to type using a computer keyboard, visually read information off of a computer monitor and paper documents. Requires ability to orally communicate information over the telephone in person and hear responses. Requires ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule face-to-face encounters between patients and physicians.
- Ensure all face-to-face documentation meets Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
- Review and verify physician documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all face-to-face encounters.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Provide training and support to staff on face-to-face documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure agency compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
