Clinical Education Lead
Apply Job ID CLINI012692 Date posted 01/02/2026 Position Type Full-TimeEmpath Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Education Lead to join our Clinical Education team in Bradenton, FL. In this role, the Clinical Education Lead is responsible for the design, development and delivery of clinical education programs for Empath Health colleagues. The Clinical Education Lead serves as a clinical and instructional resource for clinical educators and direct patient care colleagues along with working with key stakeholders to determine development needs and skill gaps, designing learning solutions, determining delivery methods, and evaluating clinical education program effectiveness.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain professional education to support the agency’s mission and strategic goals.
- Design, develop and deliver learning resources that engage and challenge learners while delivering predetermined results. Scope of work includes analyzing needs, determining appropriate methods, developing content, evaluating impact and continuous improvement.
- Coach Clinical Educators to design, develop, deliver and evaluate professional education programs.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant clinical practices and related legislative and regulatory issues as they relate to the strategic goals of the organization.
- Assure regulatory compliance with all educational requirements and those affected by education of staff and volunteers including CE Broker curriculum tables, Medicare CoPs training requirements, AHCA and TJC/CHAP training regulations, OSHA training requirements and DOEA (Alzheimer’s).
- Research, learning and development of best practices and proactively identify new technologies that improve performance.
- Establish processes to maintain currency and accuracy of curriculum content, i.e. Course Materials, Leader’s Guides and other learning objects.
- Support/partner with the agency’s leaders in the assessment, design (researching best practices when appropriate), development, delivery and evaluation of standards of practice, clinical electronic documentation standards, clinical competencies and clinical parameters that enhance patient/family care outcomes and best practices.
- Maintain clinical skills in area of practice and assume responsibility for own continuing professional development.

What You'll Need
- Education and/or Experience: Florida RN License required. BSN or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree (M.A.) preferred. Instructional certifications are preferred. (i.e., CHPN)
- Minimum of two years discipline specific experience in hospice, home health and/or palliative care, oncology, human service or related field. Four or more years is preferred.
- In depth current knowledge in area of specialty related to hospice and palliative care.
- Prefer at least two (2) years of experience in the design, development and delivery of professional development programs utilizing a blended learning approach.
- Interest in developing advanced skills with EMR.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with practice leaders, team members, and colleagues.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of technological training delivery platforms and learning management systems.
- Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in their employee file.
